Who has offended deputy Mitrofanov?

A bill, proposed by deputy Mitrofanov on May 13, in fact wounds not only, or even not so much, lesbians, but mainly childless women in our country. Because this way of life, accompanied with "baby birth reduction and population cutting-down" serves for the bill' author as a reason for regarding women like society enemies and, consequently, for placing them into prison within 5 years.
In 1934 our regime in the person of Stalin decided that homosexuality is very bad thing. And gays in our country were condemned in accordance with 121 article, though in 90th there were only a few cases. Apparently 121 article was used as a way of political pressure. Simultaneously with acceptance of this article homosexuality was ceased mentioning in mass media, it became to be "unnamed". Nowadays leader of deputy group "People's Deputy" Gennadij Raikov proposed in State Duma a bill, concerning the renewal of this article. In his interview he declared: "Our opinion is that this penalty has to be returned obligatory, and there are three reasons for that: AIDS distribution, breach of social morality and existence of four religious confessions in Russia, which dogmata prohibit homosexuality. So they can relax from one to five years." A couple of weeks later, May, 13 deputy Mitrofanov proposed his bill, concerning lesbians prosecution. Being interviewed by broadcasting station "Moscow Echo", Mitrofanov stated that his initiative appears to be "a kind of reply" to the "People's deputy" initiative". He said: "According to our constitution, all people have equal rights. So if we prosecute man, we have to prosecute women obligatory! Being a lesbian is more terrible then being a gay. People's reproduction and children upbringing depends on women. If lesbian way of life was declared and developed plainly, we would loose mothers, while mothers are more important then males, from the state viewpoint.

For Lesbiru.com imprisonment seems to be rather strange way of birth rate increasing, but the fact that deputy Mitrofanov's own childlessness evokes some questions. His beautiful wife - Marina Lillevyali, parliament RTR correspondent, is working in the State Duma for 8 years. She is considered by her colleagues to be rather strong-willed woman, visiting belligerent Yugoslavia, elucidating submarine "Kursk" tragedy, owning an order "For personal courage", relating her work in White House in 1993. Marina has a child, born in previous marriage. Talking about her present husband, she complains of his common helplessness and laziness; relating his political career she says: "Mitrofanov usually yells in Duma. Formerly it was irritating me very much, but nowadays, when they say: "Your husband was yelling today!", - I chase away: so what?"

When Zhirinovsky has extirpated deputy Evgenia Tishkova, his assistant Aleksei Mitrofanov explained it to his future wife - "Vesti" correspondent Marina Lillevyali: "He just wants her, that's it! But you will cut it out anywhere!" Meanwhile, Mr. Mitrofanov is almost 40 years old, and we can't say his appearance beams with health and beauty. You can notice short breath along with sizeable weight, blood pressure, heart ischemia, while hypodinamia, together with gastronomic glad and deputy stresses, have certainly let him know with chronic gastritis (or even stomach ulcer), cholecistitis, problems with pancreas and liver. Myopia is present also. By the way, superfluous weight might also be an indication of hormone disbalance. Adding pernicious habits and dislike for sport commitments, you can hardly be envious of such man' spermogram. And twice as much you can envy his young wife, who begins her day with fitness training.
Wretched law, concerning polygamy and being promoted by Liberal-Democratic Party, Marina has commented like: "I was always saying: "Mitrofanov, I'm for it!" I even have two candidates - my best friends. But I propose the only correction: every new wife can be accepted only under the agreement of other wives, with the help of voting". So it's an incomprehensible to find out which one in this advanced family is more interested in female harem. There is one more question, concerning former Mr. Mitrofanov's initiative: isn't it settling personal scores?... Talking about lesbians, annoying Mr. Mitrofanov so much that he has forgotten about his professional passion - geopolitics (it seems that problems like international terrorism, wars, economical slumps, political scandals do not exist anymore) and turned his attention to our side - we'll begin with ourselves, being so disgusting.

Mr. Mitrofanov graduated Moscow State University of International Relationships, he is a main assistant of Liberal-Democratic Party' leader, and before drawing such radical conclusions, resting upon his communications with unknown for a wide society lesbians, who offended him so much, he could clarify for himself a fertility situation in Russia. You do not even have to graduate a technical culinary school to familiarize yourself with statistics, reflecting the direct relation between fertility rate and economic prosperity, as well as accessibility of qualified medical care.

So, may be in spite of persuading "selfish feminists" and "irresponsible lesbians" for bearing new "future fatherland defenders", our state would be anxious about those, who are already born and roam down the streets - muddy, hungry and restless?

Professor Bladimir Sedov, member of Russian Academy of Sciences, Scientific Center of Midwifery, Gynecology and Perinatology director' assistant: "As for the birth rate, the result would be quite different, if woman was well fed, if she lived in satisfactory ecological environment, if she didn't overstrain herself at the job during her pregnancy period, if she was surrounded with love and care in her family. Pregnant woman is forsaken not by our medicine, but by our society. Not to mention the question: who will be bearing children without stable decent earnings and tomorrow's day confidence?"

Elizarov, Center of studying population problems (Economic Department, Moscow State University) director: "Many women do not want to bear their children for the state, but they still can't bear kids for themselves. We've created the conditions for middle class economic sterilization. Moderate means family can afford bearing only one child. Income, pensions and children cash benefits growth is twice as less as basket of goods cost growth. Almost everywhere there is payments' delay."

Andrei Akopyan, professor, Doctor of Medical Science, director of Republic man reproduction Center: "It is rather vexing and ridiculous situation: our politicians are trying to draw their "new" ideas out from the Peter, the Great period. At that time population of Russian Empire was equal to 10 millions, birth rate was more then sufficient, so the price of human life was miserable. But laws of evolution and society development are inexorable, dictating the time for stones gathering and dispersion. These laws strongly determine political processes and historical occasions. Birth rate depends on nation age, its civilization level, being best contraceptive remedy. In well-developed countries period of rapid natality is over. We do not have to worry or become happy about it. We ought to settle account with it, like with sunrise. Our present population level is a consequence of starvation and Stalin's repressions, dispossession of kulaks and "great age constructions", World War II and unrestrained alcoholism. And the greatest injury - unborn children, whom Russian people could bring up, instead of building communism and exporting revolution. According to demographer counts, our population nowadays could come to 300 millions - more than in America. The problem is that, according to the development laws, in the frames of ethnos with complete demographic transition there exists equilibrium: low birth rate is filled up with the growth of life longevity. This phenomenon hasn't taken place in Russia. Our country, very lavish for phenomena, produced one more: depopulation. Mortality exceeds birth rate over 1,6 times. Our country became a graveyard of young males."

By the way, childlessness is just a medical diagnosis, like invalidity, for example. And if it is becomes, according to Mr. Mitrofanov, to throw in jail childless women, so childless man, according to this logic, ought to be put in prison also, together with all incapable citizens. As to invalids and pensioners, the most advantageous way for the state - shooting them. But this is the way of following the logic. Following the wish of sharing Mr. Raikov doubtful fame, based on simple and comprehensible desire like "I wanna my portrait looking out from all the papers, bashfully and definitely!" means rather protracted joke. Moreover, pronounced by deputy, this joke is being more then untimely and offensive. The law, concerning criminal prosecution of gays and lesbians, is not required by the state, as well as by our society. Just because humans sexual orientation can't be inculcated artificially or "improved" by administrative-punitive methods. But there is another question, namely: what would be the modification of public opinion, concerning "incomprehensible quasilegal" existence of sexual minorities in our country: "it seems they are not imprisoned, but it turns out soon the will be..."
All democratic sledding may come to nothing - people reinsure "just in case", especially in provincial regions, they go underground again. They are frigh-te-ned! Because everything in our country is possible: coupons for vodka, 1937 year, as well as any other years. Initiatives, owned by gentlemen like Mitrofanov and Raikov, cause direct damage to national, just springing up, business. Various clubs, tourist firms, publishers, pooling of interests... Businessmen and partners want some assurance, at least - that they won't be called accessories and they won't be imprisoned one fine day. So what can be said about the constancy and perspective? Let us imagine that tomorrow our deputies will be discussing such smokers' penalty as imprisonment, by declaring tobacco to be a drug (there is an evidence of causal relationships, direct threat to single citizen, his neighbor and humanity as a whole!). So the only way to sober somebody up will be an idea that a half, unless greater, part of the population will be put in the dock. But why the are sexual minorities, who are considered to be so scanty that they can be subjected to repression with impunity? Lesbians, alone, constitute more than a million, while gays - 4% from whole population, at the minimum. Adding here an army of bisexuals you'll get a body of electors' extent piece - a tasty morsel, comparable with grandma-activists, inspired by plain election PR-campaign of routine benefactor. Lesbians are not those women who've got accustomed to crying in the corner, hiding over not broad (already) male backs. We don't like the fact that somebody is trying to put us without the law - regardless of what it would be - a joke, someone's populist move or mental marasmus. It will be easy, and even rather pleasantly for us to take part, as volunteers, in election campaign of some homo- and lesbi- fobs, narrating voters about how state (meaning - our, voters) money are spent, paid for the deputy as an official salary.

Our readers may say: "Wait a minute! So what is the connection between lesbians, deputies and birth rate?" No connection. Do you remember two troubles, since earliest times - roads and fools, explaining, which road we have to go? These problems stay to be actual up to now. The point is that relation core between state and family hasn't been changed through the years of democracy: our country doesn't need children; she needs grown-up children - soldiers, taxpayers and voters.
